DESCRIPTION
Before starting this performance I used Henna for tattooing on my legs’ skin including the text, ‘Wanna Get Rid of It’. Henna is used in marriages and in some religious rituals in India. Here in the performance, the impression of Henna on my skin has a psychological relevance.
Performance
I appear wearing white in a shower room unveiling the Henna design on my legs. I try to wash the text with soap, brush, foot filer, tooth brush, foot cleaner & water. I treat my legs as an object.
