DESCRIPTION
Part of the rituals of self series, Super Ritual intensifies the habitual movement of the neck — an organ whose constant, automatic adjustments we rarely notice — until the body’s control over it breaks down and the Self is released. The work pushes a single, ordinary function past its limit, seeking the threshold where the body can no longer hold its authority and something beyond the physical takes over.
I, in a state of trance, set my head free on my neck and the head moves on its own following the current of energy.
